Karosh Taha

Karosh Taha, born in 1987 in the Kurdish town of Zaxo, lives and writes in Cologne and Paris. Her debut novel "Beschreibung einer Krabbenwanderung" was published by DuMont Buchverlag in 2018. In 2020, her second novel "Im Bauch der Königin" was published. She has received several prizes and scholarships for her works, including the Hohenems Literature Prize, the Werkstipendium of the German Literature Fund, the Rolf Dieter Brinkmann Prize of the City of Cologne and most recently the Alfred Döblin Medal.
