Haritaworn situates himself in the tradition of activist scholarship that seeks to be in the service of social movements. Haritaworn's publications include Queer Lovers and Hateful Others: Regenerating Violent Times and Places, as well as Queer Necropolitics, Queering Urban Justice and Marvellous Grounds.
