Massimo Perinelli is a historian, author, podcaster and activist in post-migrant initiatives. Since 2016, he has worked as a migration officer at the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Berlin. From 2001 to 2015, he taught and researched on the history of film, body and sexuality history and US history at the University of Cologne. He was a long-time member of Kanak Attak, co-founder of the Cologne initiative "Keupstraße is everywhere" and co-initiated the tribunal "NSU-Komplex auflösen" and co-organised the tribunals in Cologne 2017, Chemnitz 2019 and Nuremberg 2022. In 2019 he published the interview volume "Die Macht der Migration" (Unrast) and in 2020 he realised the volume "Erinnern stören" (Verbrecher) together with Lydia Lierke. In 2024, together with Lucas Mielke and Mia Neuhaus, he will publish the anthology "Solidarity - a Real Utopia" (Verbrecher).
